It’s great to get hundreds or even thousands of likes but nothing beats having a person take the time to actually read what you have taken a great deal of time to think and write and to also post a comment about your post after having read it.   9. Congrats on the recognition! The Offshore Reader Award recognizes those who take the time to read the posts of those whom they follow! This is an important part of being a blogger in my opinion. All of us have times where we may not be able to devote the time to reading or writing, but we can try to make that up when we are again able to be there! This is an important part of disciplining ourselves as writers. If we want others to read what we write, we should be willing to read what others write as well! Congrats! A special recognition indeed!
