Angel

Guardian Angel shining bright
Defence by day, a comfort at night
Guide me to your precious light
Where no evil is in sight

Soothe me with your words of cheer
Removing all my clouds of fear
To you may I always draw near
Let nothing take me away from there

Gather me under your loving wings
Showing what all your goodness brings
An abundance of many things
Oh let me hear my Angel sing

Never take away your love
For it lifts me to bright worlds above
Oh to be covered like a glove
Come my sweet Angel and heavenly dove
